One person was rescued from this flat fire in London. Many more people were evacuated.
It’s important that you have a fire risk assessment carried out for the communal areas in any such blocks to protect the escape route for all occupants.

Another block of flats, another cladding issue with a walking watch in place.
This building will have to be reclad. Residents having to deal with the inconvenience of fire wardens walking around their buildings 24/7. There are better, safer and much more convenient ways of speeding up an evacuation.
This is one of many many buildings in the UK facing this issue.

This is the fourth fire at this block of flats in Brighton. It appears to have been an arson attempt around the bin room.
Residents calling for CCTV and others moving out. If you do have a fire or false alarm, it’s important to use that information to try and avoid it happening again.
These fires keep occurring and responsive control measures should be implemented.

Firefighters in West Sussex have recently been putting out this large industrial fire near Brighton which has caused the evacuation of nearby premises.
Large explosions were heard and scrap metal is involved. Residents nearby are being asked to keep windows closed for their own safety.

Firefighting crews have been fighting a large vehicle and waste fire near Newcastle.
It’s important for all premises to ensure they have a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment in place to reduce the chances of a fire starting by as much as is practically possible.
This assessment should consider access and the potential impact for firefighting crews and also access to water supplies.
